Since 2004, many activities related to circus arts have been offered in this area by Piste d’Azur. The Community of the Conurbation of the Pays de Grasse supports SCIC through a multi-year agreement on the objectives and funding of this association to develop this original cultural activity. The Conurbation Community also makes space available, located in La Roquette sur Siagne in ECSVS.

Piste d’Azur offers:

- practice in circus activities over your leisure time through workshops and courses.

- to train you in circus arts in a professional manner

SCIC has been recognised by the Regional Directorate of Youth, Sports and Social Cohesion to deliver the Professional Certificate in Youth, Popular Education and Sport (BPJEPS).

It also provides training for BIAC, prior to entry to a BPJEPS course.

Finally, since 2016, it has had the ability to certify students undergoing professional training as artists in circus and movement.

- attendance at its events: "Piste au soleil", "24 Hours of Juggling"

Message from the Director

"Piste d’Azur draws on more than 15 years’ experience in vocational training.

We offer course participants quality equipment, particularly in new premises which are perfectly suited to circus activities. They also have the benefit of a strong partnership with our professional environment (tertiary arts schools, venues for creation and outreach, etc.).
These activities are carried out by a team of permanent professionals experienced in the
field of expression, acrobatics and physical preparation. They are regularly supported by a growing network of artists specialising in circus techniques and collaborations with professional companies welcomed throughout the year to the Regional Circus Arts Centre.

Training activities are based on a strong cultural partnership, particularly with the Mediterranean National Hub for Circus Arts, the Theatre of Grasse, the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of Cannes, as well as Cannes School of Dance.

It is also developed by a strong involvement in the activities of school networks such as the French and European Federations of Circus Schools and cooperation with other Circus Training Centres.
